lots of stuff

Lots going on - lots in the works - lots waiting to get done. Lots of family stuff on top of everything... seems a rash of heart attacks are the latest fad. Everyone is doing well they just need some extra attention. Time to put on my nurse hat!

adventures in babysitting

My sister actually lets me babysit. I don't know too much about taking care of kids but I guess after she survived her first round with me I have officially qualified as an approved babysitter. Looking at these pics now I realize that I forgot to change her out of her pjs into some decent play clothes - sssshhhh don't tell your mom!!

Addie: 1 1/2 years old
Dislikes: bugs - loud trucks - dirt - face wiping
Likes: raisins - her new swing - Barney (ugh) - hide and seek - aunty yaya (that's me!)

it's for you...

I think everyone has that "isn't-it-cute" picture in their baby book when they are toddling around with a corded phone up to their ear before they could even speak to use it (at least my generation) . I remember a picture of my sister in an over sized, floor skimming coat with the phone up to her ear in one hand and a beer in the other. Could that be foreshadowing?
