DUCF wrap up
i had a great time at the Detroit Urban Craft Fair. it's such a cool event and it was pretty much jammed packed both days. lots of talented crafters and great products, it was hard to keep the earnings in my pocket.hello goes out to my fair neighbors fellow Michigander Sarah of Hip To Piece Squares - who's booth was always hopping and Kalpna of Old Weston Handmade Wonders - who's Ponyboy necklace went home with a celebrity. I saw a lot of familiar faces from the first DUCF and I'll tell you, I don't know how they do it. Prepping for the fair really wore me out and these crazy crafters were just getting started with their fair season.
A huge thanks to everyone at Handmade Detroit who work their butts off to organize it. It's a well oiled machine and i hope to come back next year.
