2010 intentions

i've decided my word for 2010 is...
CREATE!
my intention is to create all over the place and see what sticks (don't think, just create). i'm making new habits to support this and dropping the ones that interfere. i have a super-great new agent and intend to do everything in my power to take advantage of this mind-blowing opportunity!

mantra:
make me a channel for divine creativity;
use me as an instrument of a higher will!

frizzelstix book covers

Päivi has done it again!
Check out these very cool fabric book covers made with my riding hood fabric and stamp (the stamp set has sold out - yay). I love the fabric mixed with linen, it looks so fancy. I mostly love that crafty peeps actually buy and create with something I've made...it's a huge thrill!! The store is filled with some much yummy stuff - Päivi handmade, zakka, fabric, ribbon, books and more - you really should take a gander for yourself.

mad about plaid

I made this for my niece over the holiday up at the cabin. My family was laughing at it because the head looked more like a rat than a bear and his arms are long and kind of swishy. I followed the pattern but I guess my sewing machine skills need work. So I'm introducing to you the buffalo plaid rat-bear. I never did get his name...
