1. I bought this beautiful piece from Geninne... she's so good. I missed my chance a while ago so when I found she was running another batch I jumped on it. It reminds me of me and D in our winter hats. Lovely!! Shop here.2. We had mexican with the family one night and I handed my 15 month old niece half of a tortilla. She proceeded to wipe her face with it thinking it was a napkin. Ha - so cute!!
3. This piece has everything I love - some woods, a hungry bear and a ghost! It's by Liz Riccardi who's amazing. She creates and blogs and sells stuff too. Very cool and affordable.4. Smashed up my car when a deer hit me. And no, I wasn't up north but returning back to work after lunch in the suburbs?!?! I was fine and the deer was knocked out but eventually got up and ran away (poor thing). I still haven't got my car back. Talk about scary!!
5. Updated my blog for the new template layout features and lost half of my links. Ugh!!!
6. I got this in the mail all the way from Japan. It's to die for. I'm chomping at the bit to get started on a project. The embroidery technique is so delicate. Anyone know Japanese? Thanks Laurie for the link!!
7. Celebrated all the winter birthdays.

I'm glad you're ok! And that tortilla story, HA!
Ooh, that's some dedication right there, ignoring the internets! :)
I bought a Geninne print, too! It was my birthday present to myself. I smile every time I see it. I so love her blog.
Glad to see you're still around. Will we get to see the product of all your hard work?
(and thanks for the kind note. I think it's hard for me to see what you guys are saying, since I'm looking at it up close.)
you have been busy!
sometimes staying away from the internet can be a good thing : )
your work is just beautiful! i know what you mean about needing to avoid the internet to work... i really should do that too!
